Preparation for China Hi-tech Fair 2006 unfolds in full scale.

April 4, 2006, China Hi-tech Fair Organizing Committee (CHTFOC) held the first session for CHTF 2006 in Beijing. At the grand road show participated by guests from foreign embassies, trans-national companies and business organizations in Beijing, Chinese and international media communities , Mr. Xu Zongheng, CHTFOC director and mayor of Shenzhen expressed his warm welcome to friends from all over the world to China Hi-tech Fair 2006.
 
China Hi-tech Fair 2006 will be held in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center as scheduled from October 12-17, 2006. As with the previous times, the fair will be jointly hosted by Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Information Industry, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Personnel, State Intellectual Property Rights Office, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, the People’s Government of Shenzhen City and co-hosted by Ministry of Agriculture. In midst of China’s new move towards a nation of innovation, CHTF 2006 will highlight 3 themes: proprietary innovation, recycling economy and intellectual property rights protection with a number of feature events including Commercialization of Technological Innovation, specialized shows of IT, electronics, photoelectric and flat panel display (FPD) industries, World Technology & Economy Forum, super-SUPER Special Events and High-tech Human and Intellectual Resources Exchange. The fair will take a total area of 105,000 square meters.
 
With the assistance of UFI and a number of other Chinese/international industrial associations and organizations, CHTFOC is sending invitations to leading high-tech companies, purchasers, investment institutions interested in the hi-tech sector, foreign  companies with plans to expand their business in the China market, organizations and industrial insiders, government agencies and authoritative figures across the world. It is planning to hold over 40 exchange sessions for Chinese participants and their international peers.
 
With preparation for China Hi-tech Fair 2006 being unfolded as scheduled, a lot of transnational companies and leading business organizations from Germany, Italy, France, Japan, South Korea and India have already confirmed their participation.
