As one of the leading suppliers of set-top box solutions on the global market, NEC Electronics, which also ranks the 8th in the world semiconductor sector, has mobilized an all-star cast for the CHTF 2006.
NEC Electronics peeled off from its parent company NEC on November 1, 2002 to specialize in semiconductor business. For on-time fulfillment of its goal to become a top-5 seller on the China market, NEC Electronics will continue what it did in the last CHTF ?C promotion for 8-bit all-flash mono-chip module 78K0/KB2 and their development tools, MCUs, high-power MOS FET, mobile phone solutions, automotive solutions, electric bicycles, STB, Direct Flow Variable Frequency air-conditioning solutions, and leadless products. All-flash mono-chip module and its programmable application on the production line will be put under the spotlight to demonstrate their positive significance in enhanced productivity, reduced software development time, improved production process control and flexible inventory management. NEC Electronics will also host seminars on “all-flash memory mono-chip machine” and “mono-chip module development tools” in duration of the Electronics Exhibition. The company’s delegate is also scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at the 2006 Global Semiconductor Market Conference on October 11.
What worth a particular mentioning is the full-function, mono-chip module development tool MINICUBE2, a low-cost version capable of 8-32 but small enough to be fixed into a matchbox. These tools will be distributed free of charge to users at seminars or during exhibitions.
