As the host city, Shenzhen has much successful cooperation during the Shenzhen 8th China Hi-Tech Fair. On Oct. 12, the foundation ceremony of “Changhong research & development base in Shenzhen” is grandly staged in the southern plaza of New & High Technology Development Zone, which is the first step of Changhong to build “3 plus 1” structure with technology innovation networks. On Oct. 14, 6 inch integrated circuit production line, which is the most modern in china, was officially put into production in Shenzhen Founder Micro-Electronics Company. So far, Founder IT hardware industrial chain has completed the steps from PC to tier circuit board, and then to high value-added chips, which indicates that the company had the abilities to manufacture core components after it had the abilities to assemble entire machine and to manufacture essential components.

A number of Shenzhen native private enterprises will exhibit their updated self-dominated innovative achievements during the 8th China Hi-Tech Fair. Huawei, Konka, Skyworth, Coship Electronics, Delux Technology, Liming Network and SEG GPS Scientific Navigations etc, will carry their productions with self-dominated intellectual property to the exhibition. New & High Technology and Self-Dominated Innovation have become another name of Shenzhen.

Mr.Xu Qin, general director of High-tech Industry Department, National Development and Reform Commission, said that Shenzhen is in the regulatory period of economic development and also in the promotional stage of new industrial structure. National Development and Reform Commission will further support Shenzhen to construct innovative city in the relative plan and policy during “the Eleventh Five-Year Plan”.
